How To Get Better At English

Introduction

As an international school graduate, I put much effort into studying English in my middle school and high school years. The effort did culminate in me getting 7 in International Baccalaureate English and Literature SL. However, even after graduating from high school, I always felt the presence of some barrier preventing me from speaking or writing English like a native. My English skills still have much room for improvement, but I recently discovered a way to better my skills in the aforementioned areas and I am therefore sharing it with you today. The method is extremely simple to follow and entirely free.

The Method

Go to Youtube and read comments written by native English speakers. Type keywords such as “Trump” and “Elon Musk” into your search box and click on to the videos related to them, because those videos are likely to be visited by native English speakers. When reading the comments, make sure you try to remember the important phrases or words. If you just skim through the comments instead of studying them, no useful knowledge would remain in your mind.
