While many numbers can serve as good indicators for health, one indicator I would choose as the best representative of overall health is joint mobility.

In that case, check if your shoulder mobility has improved. If your shoulder mobility has increased as a consequence of doing exercises, you are doing the exercises correctly and you’ll probably attain the result you wanted in the near future.
