In recent years, Japan is becoming one of the most visited tour destinations. In this post, I am going to explain why tour to Japan is gaining popularity.
Beautiful Buildings
First, Japan has beautiful buildings. Many of Japan’s districts have unique and well designed buildings that are aesthetically attractive. Moreover, Japanese buildings are often arranged in a cleanly manner, making a great city view.
Some of the buildings have very intricate design, and this may include buildings such as Umeda Sky Building. The building not only looks unique, but if you get inside, there is an explanation of how each aspect of the building was designed and how the design was implemented during the construction process. Personally, I marvel at the beauty of Japanese buildings when walking on the streets.
Great Food
Japan has many delicious foods, but what makes Japan a good tour destination for a gourmet is the fact that many of the restaurants have highly skilled cooks. In Japan, you don’t necessarily have to go to expensive hotels to enjoy great food. The restaurants that look the most ordinary often have very good cooks who are capable of producing very delicious dishes.
Which dishes are particularly good? The first tier would be desserts and beer. Japanese desserts are of very high quality and the beer is both tasty and cheap. The second tier would be Japanese dishes including sushi, tempura, sashimi et cetera. By the way, Japanese department stores often have restaurants that provide very high quality Western foods. The Western foods are in the form slightly modified to fit Japanese taste, and often include ham-ba-gu steak, shrimp tempura, pasta et cetera.
Relatively Cheap Price of Goods and Services
As of now, Japan has relatively low price level, making many goods affordable. This may change in the future due to changes in the status of the global economy, but as of now, the price level is stable and affordable.
Clean Hotels
Japanese hotels are often clean, so you don’t have to worry much about the quality of service that the hotels provide. The only thing that you may need to take care of when making reservations is the fact that some of the Japanese hotel rooms are quite small.
Excellent Infrastructure
Japanese cities have great subway system. Moreover, I personally felt no discomfort moving around in Japan because there were so many convenience stores nearby wherever I go, making it possible to purchase drinks or any other necessary items whenever needed.
The subway stations are often directly connected to nearby department stores or important places, making it extremely easy to visit many tourist attractions in one day.
If You Are Interested in Manga and Anime
Then Japan is a great place to visit. Many ordinary Japanese bookstores sell manga, and you can always visit Animate stores, which are stores that specialize in manga and anime products.
Extremely Clean Streets
Compared to those of numerous other countries, Japanese streets are astonishingly clean. This is presumably because Japanese citizens refrain from littering and the government regularly cleans the streets.
Conclusion
In many ways, Japan is a great place to visit. It doesn’t matter whether you want to see historical sites, eat delicious food or enjoy Japanese culture, because Japan has it all. While all cities are good for visiting, people who are going to Japan for the first time may find things easier at some of the larger cities including Tokyo, Osaka et cetera.
